Feature Overview
Both the SP580 and SP680 are fully automated Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzers. Their fundamental operating principle is likewise based on the Kjeldahl method. However, unlike semi-automated devices,
these units feature integrated functional modules that encompass every step of the Kjeldahl process-including reagent addition, distillation, condensation, titration, and colorimetric detection. Once a digested sample is loaded into the fully automated analyzer, the user is relieved of the need to perform any complex manual operations. Thanks to built in preset operating programs, the user simply needs to press a single button to initiate the experiment; within just 3 to 5 minutes, the instrument directly yields a precise measurement of the nitrogen content. The experimental results are automatically displayed on the human-machine interface and can be physically archived via a printout detailing both the results and specific experimental parameters. Furthermore, if the optional data export feature is selected, all data can be digitally stored-either locally or in the cloud-for convenient electronic archiving. The primary difference between the SP580 and the SP680 is that the former lacks the automatic waste liquid discharge function for the nitrogen tubes. The main purpose of this feature is to automatically drain the mixed waste liquid from the nitrogen tubes upon the completion of an experiment; this not only reduces the operational steps required of laboratory personnel-thereby enhancing experimental efficiency-but also lowers the temperature of the nitrogen tubes, thereby preventing potential hazards to the operator.
